Dundalk Institute of Technology is determined to ensure that its graduates are well equipped to play a vital role in the recovery of the Irish economy in the border region.

The Department of Music and Creative Media has established the Atlantic Academy of the Arts, an organisation dedicated to enhancing the educational experience of students at the Institute in a number of very imaginative and exciting ways.

The Atlantic Academy of the Arts is  located in the PJ Carroll Creative Centre, DkIT. This is a new €38 million state-of-the-art music and media creative centre, which includes purpose built performance spaces, practice rooms, recording studios and film making and animation suites. The college will welcome visiting  students and lecturers to make use of these facilities. On site accommodation and dining facilities are also available.

The Academy aims to bring together students from all backgrounds through music and creative arts.
